Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 8, 2026
Website: https://digibats.com
Operator: DigiBats LLC
This policy explains what information DigiBats ("we", "us") collects when you use https://digibats.com, how we use it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
1. What we collect
- Server logs. Like every website, our servers record the pages requested, the time, the browser type and an IP address. We use these records to keep the site running and secure and to count how often pages are read. Page-view counts are stored without the IP address.
- No third-party analytics or advertising trackers are embedded on the site.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your e-mail address, the date and the site you subscribed to, a hashed form of the IP address used to subscribe (for abuse prevention) and whether you confirmed the subscription. We send a confirmation e-mail first and only add you after you click the link in it (double opt-in).
- Messages you send us. If you e-mail us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer and for our records.
- Bot protection. The subscription form is protected by a CAPTCHA service, which may process technical information about your browser to tell people from automated scripts.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for profiling or automated decisions.
2. How we use it
To operate and secure the site, to send the newsletter you asked for, to answer your messages, to measure which content is useful and to comply with legal obligations. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (newsletter, analytics cookies where applicable), our legitimate interest in running a secure and useful website, and legal obligations.
3. Sharing
We use service providers to host the site, store data, send e-mail and protect forms against abuse. They process data on our behalf under contract and may not use it for their own purposes. We disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights, users or the public. Our hosting and e-mail providers may process data in the United States or other countries; where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.
4. Retention
Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe (we then keep a minimal record that you opted out so that we do not e-mail you again) and unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. Correspondence is kept as long as reasonably necessary.
5. Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link in every newsletter e-mail or by writing to info@digibats.com.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works without them.
- Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to info@digibats.com and we will respond within the time the law allows.
6. Children
The site is intended for professionals and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Security
We use HTTPS throughout, keep data on access-controlled infrastructure and limit who can see it. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always at https://digibats.com/privacy with its effective date. Material changes will be announced on the site or by e-mail where required.
